love reading, listening to western classical music. teaching is my passion.I believe what Ayn Rand had said--"Well, have I taught you anything? I'll tell you: I've taught you a great deal and nothing. No one can teach you anything, not at the core, at the source of it. What you're doing--it's yours, not mine, I can only teach you to do it better. I can give you the means, but the aim--the aim's your own.." I believe in integrity- integrity of thoughts, ideas and ideals.

another one, costing Rs. 5 billion only- what says The very educated and cultured Buddha Babu?

We live in largest democracy. We live in a free country ruled by people's representatives. So, if these intelligent leaders protest for our sake, we shouldn't complain now, should we? After all, they have no selfish motive.. they just want a prosperous life for common man, isn't it?
Today's bandh will cost Bengal a loss of  Rs. 5 billion. If we take the previous bandhs of 27th April and July 5th, we have lost 15 billion and yet, the year is not over. So we can look forward to more of  these unexpected holidays.
West Bengal's Infrastructure Development Index has fallen from as high as 110.6 in 1980 to 90.8 in 1990.
Bank credit in West Bengal accounted for 10.3% of total bank credit in the country in 1980. Twenty years later, its share had fallen to 5.9%, an indication of the lack of opportunities for funding businesses in the state.
The emerging IT sector which the bengalis boast so much about, showed only 47% attendance on a weekday.
I wonder just how long the common people will suffer at the hands of these hooligans whom India has given a new name-" politicians". While you and I try beyond our means to get an acclaimed education, these people can earn Rs. 50,000 a month by simply being a "politician". How long will we show our apathy at the state of affairs in Bengal? How long shall we glorify our past and lend a deaf ear to the present which is languishing away to extinction. There is still time- if we wish to save Bengal, we must act now.
